Get to know Dan

I’m Dan Fox and I am running for a seat on the Marblehead Select Board. I grew up in Marblehead and chose to return to this great town to raise my own family. This town afforded me many unbelievable opportunities and I feel very proud and lucky to have spent my childhood here.  I want my own children, as well as all Marbleheaders, to have that same sense of pride and those same opportunities. I am seeking a seat on the Select Board because it is time for me to take action on my strong beliefs about what Marblehead can be. I see the challenges facing us as possibilities to unite our community.

We face many pressing issues as a community, including rising costs, coastal erosion, climate change, and a lack of affordable housing. In the face of challenges, it is better to be proactive than reactive.
